What is Level Up?
"Level Up" is a publication created to raise funds for a charity called Child's Play. It will contain articles from some of the greatest people in the video game industry and cover a variety of topics across the genre, such as voice acting, soundtracks, writing, and more.
What is Child's Play and what do they do?
Child's Play is a community-based charity providing consoles, games, toys and other forms of entertainment to children whose illnesses force them to stay in hospital for prolonged periods of time. For more information please visit their website at www.childsplaycharity.org.
How does the charity benefit from the book?
"Level Up" is a not-for-profit venture and proceeds from its publication will be donated in full to the Child's Play charity. All profit generated will be directly sent by Amazon to the charity at point of purchase and will not be processed by any third party. For each copy of the publication sold, the charity will receive over half of the fully retail cost (final figure to be determined and declared prior to publication).
Will there be a list of contributors?
The list of contributers is being finalised now and will be posted shortly.
What kind of articles will be included?
The publication will include articles on a variety of topics, depending on the focus of the writer. Futher details will be available on the wesbite once the contributer list has been announced.
