The Level Up book will be a compilation of video game articles by people in the industry. We have an exciting list of contributers to be announced, who will write articles across a variety of topics including motion capture, music, voice acting, producing, journalism, as well as looking at the difficulties of creating a video game and the work that goes into getting a project started.
All profit generated by the book will go directly to the Child's Play Charity (www.childsplaycharity.org), whose mission is to help children in hospital by providing consoles and games, DVDs, books and more to make their stay more comfortable. The funds generated will be collected by Amazon at point of sale and remit directly to the charity, no third party will be involved in the money transfer.
The book is slated for publication in Spring 2012 in paperback and a Kindle version may follow depending on demand.
